The ambiance of the frog pond still carries on. They are now temporary relocated at 5200 St. Pete beach inside the Mad Fish. And boy oh boy is it worth the drive. The owner of the Mad fish is also gracious and k8nd. So please come down and support their return.

I love diner food. I love the diner experience. Plentiful plates of piping hot and good food that are not overpriced. Service and attention without the fluff. Frog Pond is great at that. It's a little bit hard to spot from the road because it's large overhanging patio. But it is on the corner Gulf Blvd and Corey Ave, right at the traffic light. Plenty of parking on the side of the building. I think there was maybe two tables out front if you prefer to eat outside. As the name suggests, there are frog kitsch everywhere. Not terrible. Cutesy. A little dark inside. Plenty of seating, both tables and booths. The service is attentive and frequent. The food is good. Really good. I ordered a spinach and swiss cheese omelette. It is served with home fries, a slice of fruit (in this case, orange) butered toast and strawberry jam. My husband ordered scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and home fries. Also served with orange slice and buttered toast. The omelette was perfectly cooked. NO brown spots. The spinach had flavor, home fries were soft on the outside and crispy on the outside. The bacon is salty, crispy and sooo good. The portions are big. The price point is comfortable. BUT unfortunately, the coffee is needs improvement. That is the negative I have for this wonderful place. Do yourself the favor and read the front of the menu. Very insightful.

Love this local GEM! Was in town visiting and wanted a local mom pop to grab breakfast before going to the beach. Came early and this is your no frills breakfast place with lovely servers! The place is adorned with of course...frogs. Gets bustling during high season so get there early! Hefty portions! I got the crepe of the day which came with loads of fruit .

Just arrived home from our 2nd trip to the St. Pete area, and we made a point of going back to Frog Pond when there. This time we made it there twice for breakfast, including just before we hit the airport heading home. Wow is all I can say...the freshest, most amazing fruit, consistently excellent food with huge portions, and the friendliest service around. Good coffee, too, with fast & plentiful refills. We went the morning of my daughter's birthday, and the servers remembered her when we stopped in a few days later on the way out of town. This visit, as with our previous visit, the servers and managers went above and beyond to make us feel welcome & valued. Cannot recommend it highly enough!! Frog Pond!!!

Far better than I could've imagined! Huge portions and very flavorful. The restaurant has a laid back vibe but very creative with the murals. The service was fantastic and they were very attentive. I'll definitely be back!

Great breakfast spot that makes you feel like you're at home. Jonathan was a great server who helped us choose our food and gave an overall beautiful experience.

Great smaller business. Good food and great reasonable prices. Reminds me more of a mom and pop style. Service was great and manager came around to check and was helping out which is always nice to see. Highly recommend trying it out.

Another hidden gem in the st pete area ! My family and I planned a last minute beach day after coming home from Orlando and we were looking for a spot with some good breakfast or brunch food. This place was one of the top ones that popped up, so we decided to give them a try! First things first it's all about frogs :) they have frogs all over the place. (Not real frogs) they have statues, art work, tshirts and just a bunch of fun frog decor. They have two seating options, you can either sit inside or outside. One thing I also love is that they are family friendly, so if you have kids, you can bring them here :) Our server was excellent! He was very attentive and kept our cups filled! For our meals, we ordered under the Etcetera menu, the two eggs, toast and home fries and added a side of the biscuits and gravy. Our son ordered just the kids bowl of fruit. Our food was pretty good, the only thing we weren't a fan of was the sausage gravy and biscuits. The gravy was very starchy and dry. Overall, very cute place on st pete beach and highly recommend for a meal before the beach :)

We just rolled into town last night, and after searching a little while I found this restaurant that was close by. The four of us drove over there and were seated almost immediately by a friendly staff. The service and attention we received was excellent and exceeded my expectations for such a popular place. Thank you Silia! From what I observed this restaurant is more popular for breakfast items, especially the cinnamon French toast. All the breakfast items on the menu sounded fantastic, and I would love to try them all when I come back. Pros: pulp in the orange juice, complementary fruit bowl because of kitchen delays. Cons: none
